This morning I had just come back from Prague, but there was no time for resting because I had signed up for Arcadia's FREE cat cafe excursion! There isn't that much to say about this because it's a whole bunch of me talking about how adorable the cats were for an entire hour and petting them, so I'll give a quick rundown and the pictures can speak for themselves!
The place's full name is "Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium" and it's located by Brick Lane and Shoreditch. It was quite a trek for me to get to from the housing in the Archway/Highgate area, which is fairly close to Hampstead Heath. In order to save money and budget during my study abroad trip, I decided to purchase a bus only pass instead of one that also works for the Tube so that I could save money. It a very long bus ride and quite a bit of walking as well.

I love how there was this pink panther graffiti next to a cat cafe!
To my surprise, I was the first person to arrive and saw Polly (a wonderful Arcadia staff member) waiting for me there. Once the other two people arrived, we were all set to get seated and order some food to eat during our one hour with the cats. The place was Alice in Wonderland themed and the decor was absolutely amazing!
Unfortunately when we got there, a lot of the cats were asleep. There was a rule that you could not pet sleeping cats to ensure their highest comfort, but it was so hard not to be able to reach out to the adorable lil ones drifting off.
After we finished our small meals of grilled cheese and tea, some cats were starting to wake up and roam around.
The whole place was filled with cool toys and relatively fancy/intricate scratching posts. My cat would be in absolute heaven if she could live there!
When it was time to go, we were all quite sad to leave the heart-tugging super soft cats behind, but we still left happy that we had been able to spend the past hour appreciating the furry ones!
