Education

I am a recent graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I have a BA in Communication and Social Influence following a Civic Engagement track. I also has a concentration in International Communication as well as a minor in French. My final semester was completed at Temple University's Japan campus in Tokyo.

Social Influence

Through my undergraduate degree, I worked on "develop[ing] a humanistic and social-scientific approach to effective public communication in urban environments."

Linguistics

I have a solid understanding of fundamental linguistic anthropology. She took an Honors GenEd course titled "Language in Society" my sophomore year in Fall 2019. The following Academic Year, I became a Diamond Peer Teacher for the course during Spring 2021.

Secondary Language Learning

Starting as a tutor for La Société Honoraire Française in high school, I developed a passion for teaching French as well as learning it herself. I then continued as a language tutor through the Student Success Center , where I eventually became a trainer for new Conversation Partners.

International Communication

"Students in the International Communication Concentration (ICC) acquire a theoretical and practical education in international and intercultural communication and media."

Post-Graduate

Out of my love for learning languages and interest in linguistics, I seeks to produce bilingual children's media for educational use across America. I was chosen as a grantee for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Luxembourg for the 2023-2024 academic year. Now, I am a student in the Bilingual Bicultural Education MEd in program at DePaul University.
